Course Description

*Note: This course designed for Clinical Supervisors and Supervisors In Training*

The workshop will review terms central to understanding multicultural supervision, including multicultural and diversity competence, multicultural orientation, and cultural humility. The research conducted to date will be discussed with an emphasis on next steps for supervisors and supervisees alike. A model for addressing supervisors’, supervisees’, and clients’ multiple intersecting identities will be presented, and case examples will illustrate how the model can be applied.

All workshop participants are eligible to receive 3 CEU credits (Psych/SW/LMFT/LPC) upon completion.

  7. Explain how the material reviewed can be incorporated into your supervision and training practices
