Course Description

In this introduction to textiles, you'll study the strengths and weaknesses of different fibers, both natural and synthetic. You'll discuss how to coordinate fabrics by scale, color, texture, and pattern. In the first session, you'll focus on textiles and fibers, and in the second session you'll look at drapery terms and window treatments.

Kristine Robinson is an award-winning interior designer with specialties in custom window treatments, color consulting, and antiques. Kristine has lent her innovative vision and distinguished design experience to creating beautiful, functional homes for clients across the country for nearly 20 years. As the lead instructor for Temple University’s interior design certificate program, she teaches both her students and her clients how to use their spaces in the best possible way.
