Course Description

This is Wickline Casting’s popular intro course that started 30 years ago. Your child will work as cast and crew teams in this innovative cool camp. Kids are taught the basic levels of acting, directing, voice-over, operating the camera and how to work with a green screen (for special background images projection.) Script writing, storyboarding and improvisation will also be introduced.  Each day is different as they create fun projects; commercials, film scenes, music videos and public service announcements. A huge benefit of this camp is team building,increasing memory, reading skills, creative concept and original content. They will truly learn the basics of the biz. This camp was designed by casting director, Kathy Wickline, CSA (www.wicklinecasting.com) who holds over 10,000 casting credits in film, commercials and TV. After camp, all footage is sent to a professional editor. A digital file will be emailed to you as a wonderful keepsake. Materials Needed- please send notebook, pen and pencils.           Allow up to 3 months editing.
