Course Description

This course will help students improve their critical thinking and analytical skills in English. Specifically, students will learn vocabulary and observational methods necessary to do analysis of non-textual sources such as material artifacts, photographs, music, and film. After learning this information, students will practice applying it in critical thinking exercises and discussions. The skills learned in this course will help students succeed in various general education courses.
