Course Description

Do you conduct training programs or facilitate adult learning experiences and find that you are doing the same old things and getting the same old results? This session is for trainers/group facilitators who need to jump-start their presentations and supersize their program’s impact. Come to this session with a program you currently conduct that is on life support or an idea for a new training program that you would like to design in a more experiential and active way. In this program, you will practice the following training design and delivery skills:

  • Presenting a “Brain-Friendly” lecture
  • Using simulations to deepen learning and support retention of information
  • Telling stories that have impact
  • Sequencing content and activities to maximize design effectiveness
  • Facilitating and processing experiential activities so that every ounce of learning is extracted
  • Guiding discussions and posing challenging questions
