Course Description

Evidence-based practice (EBP) is a way of providing health care that is guided by a thoughtful integration of the best available scientific knowledge with clinical experience. The Recreational Therapy Evidence-Based Practice Day (EBPD) Conference is an annual event that showcases the most current EBP related to the field of Recreational Therapy for the purpose of maximizing quality care and treatment outcomes.

Due to COVID-19, this year’s conference will be held online. The conference will open on Thursday, 4/22/21 at 12:00 am Eastern Standard Time and will close on Friday, 4/23/21 at 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time. All sessions will be pre-recorded and can be watched anytime on these two days.

Participants can earn CEUs by paying an additional fee and completing a short quiz after each presentation to verify attendance.

Registration for the conference will open on 2/22/21 and will close on 4/19/21 at 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time.

If you have any questions, please contact Heather Porter at hporter@temple.edu.
