Course Description

Evidence-based practice (EBP) is a way of providing health care that is guided by a thoughtful integration of the best available scientific knowledge with clinical experience.

The Recreational Therapy Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) Conference is an annual event that showcases the most current EBP related to the field of Recreational Therapy for the purpose of maximizing quality care and treatment outcomes.

The conference will open on Wednesday, 4/19/23 at 12:01 am Eastern Standard Time and will close on Wednesday, 4/26/23 at 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time. All sessions will be pre-recorded and can be watched anytime on these days. This year’s conference will be held online with an optional in-person session held on 4/21/23 that requires a separate registration. 

Participants can earn CEUs by paying an additional fee and completing a short quiz after each presentation to verify attendance. There are 10 presentations at .1 CEU each - a total of 1.0 CEUs can be earned.

Registration for the conference will open on 2/28/23 and will close on 4/18/23 at 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time.

CEU's only require a one time purchase for both the Online and In-person Conference events.
