TYLER0851 - Online Figure Drawing & Portraits
Course Description
This workshop is based on the idea that the human figure is a gift to the artist. Working from pre-recorded videos and still images of clothed models, as well as portrait studies of yourself, you will investigate portraiture and the figure using an array of drawing materials. You will learn the facets of drawing the figure by exploring proportion, form, gesture and composition. Portrait studies are designed to give students a deeper understanding of human expression. This is an important class for students looking to enhance a college admissions portfolio!
Previous observational drawing experience is required. Our online programs will utilize pre-recordings and still images of clothed figure models. Drawing from nude models will not be included in this class.
