Course Description

Architecture is an innovative field that addresses the current and future challenges of society at large. This workshop introduces students to methods of architectural representation and design. Processes related to constructing and understanding the built environment are explored through collaborative design problems, faculty presentations, virtual site visits and hands-on projects. Students will learn the architectural techniques of orthographic drawing, drafting and model making. By the end of this workshop, students will have gained new skills and insight into the many college degree pathways and professions within this exciting field. No previous experience required.
