Course Description

PAYMENT PROCESS – GENERAL INFORMATION:


Required:  All trainer candidates must currently be employed in one of the eligible licensed settings for a minimum of six months before taking the trainer course.

Save Time  – Do Not Enter YOUR Name in the Profile if you are not taking the course:   

 If you are paying for an employee or co-worker to attend the training, please complete the profile information in the name of the staff member or co-worker and enter your name only in the payment information as the name on the credit card.

    • Enter in your user credentials
      • If you only know your username enter the username and click “Forgot username or password”
    • Navigate to https://medadmin.myodp.org
    • Click the Login button (top right corner)
      • If you are a new registrant click the
        "Create new account" button on the right.
      • Follow the on-screen steps to create an account
    • If you need any support for registering please go to the Medication Administration helpdesk: www.mahelpdesk.com
  • Click Add to Cart
  • Click Checkout
  • Payment for your chapter...
    • Select your enrollment option and any optional training materials
    • Be sure that you select your enrollment option (Your chapter i.e. Vocational Facility) or select Recertification to be charged the correct amount and save time.
  • Materials are not needed if you plan to administer the student course online

**Review the cart total. If the amount is wrong, or the enrollment option is not what you want please review/correct your choice.**

  • Click Checkout
  • Log into DestinyOne by entering your username and password
    • If you do not have a DestinyOne account please enter your email address under I am a new user.
  • Follow the on-screen directions to pay for your course.

Receipts and Payment Confirmation:  When a trainer candidate is registered and payment is made, a payment receipt (notification) is sent. The trainer candidate will later receive a second notification (see notification indicator as you log into the medication administration system) indicating that the billing status in the Meds Admin system has changed to "Payment Confirmed" and then the trainer candidate can begin the online modules. The notification will take approximately 1 business day to be sent out and you will be unable to access the medication administration site until then.

 

 

Course Outline

Face-to-Face Class requirements:

The trainer candidate must already have registered for and completed the required online modules, 0 – 9 as well as successfully completed all 10 quizzes with an 80% or better.
Once the trainer candidate has successfully completed all exams (Multiple Choice and Written Documentation), with an overall course average of 90% or better the trainer candidate will automatically gain access to the online Role of the Certified Trainer Course (formerly Lesson 12). 
Upon successful completion of the quizzes in lessons A through F of the Role of the Certified Trainer Course, the trainer candidate will then be permitted to register for the Face-to-Face class.

There is no additional charge to attend the Face to Face class.

VIRTUAL TRAIN-THE-TRAINER FACE-TO-FACE CLASS SCHEDULE

All Train-the-Trainer Face-to-Face Classes will be virtual through December 31, 2023.

Classes for New Trainers and Recertifying Trainers will be held separately. New Trainer classes are designated as New Trainer and start at 8:30 AM. Recertifying Trainer Classes are available in the morning and in the afternoon. Morning classes are designated as AM Recertification classes and will also start at 8:30 AM. Afternoon classes are designated as PM Recertification classes and will start at 1:00 PM.

*** Classes are assigned on a first-come, first-served order, based on when you successfully complete your exams. There is a finite number of seats in each class and some classes do fill up.
