ONCE1073 - Escape the Camp & Wilderness Skills (grades 5 to 7)

Course Description

Do you love puzzles, codes, and Escape-Room style mysteries? Join us for a week of mind-bending challenges and plot-twists set in the outdoors. Test your own skills by solving escape mysteries, then be trained in code-breaking, observation, trick objects and immersive story creation as you build an escape experience of your own. Then, discover what it takes to be an outdoor survivor? You will be introduced the world of wilderness survival using ancient skills and modern tools. Campers are challenged to build natural shelters; are introduced to outdoor navigation and signaling; learn how to pack for adventures with their families; and practice the secrets of invisibility and stealth. Skills are woven into each day camps storytelling, discussions, and team challenges.

Notes

This camp is held at the Temple University Ambler campus and is best suited for rising 5th graders to rising 7th graders.
