ONCE1056 - Heroes Behind the Badge (5th to 8th graders)

Course Description

You immediately recognize them by their uniforms – police officer, park ranger, school resource officer, firefighter, and EMT – but what can you learn from the brave women and men behind the badge? This camp provides the opportunity to establish positive relationships with law enforcement and public safety personnel. Meet them and hear their stories – and, better yet, learn and practice the basic skills of a first responder! Daily activities will include physical fitness, raising the colors, and team-building activities. Also, learn basics of fire safety, crime scene processing and evidence collection, resource protection, personal safety, and more! You will know much more about the heroes behind the badge and several exciting careers.
