Course Description
Course Description: This workshop will focus on the power of one person's voice to unite others and ignite civic transformation. The workshop discusses essential elements of community organization and -practical tools to promote change. Through this workshop you will learn how to develop change leadership, rally people together for a collective cause, use specific methods that have been proven to provide results in shifting public practices and law, and how social workers can create change within their organization. This course is intended for beginner level participants, and develops skills that can be applied in both community and clinical practice.
