Course Description

The CMU "Creating Opportunities Together" conference will bring together MH/IDD/EI professionals to support the promotion of cross systems education and deliver the skills necessary to enhance service delivery.

Registering through this site is for requesting Social Work continuing education credit only. Payment for the CE Credit must be made at checkout.

Learner Outcomes

This annual conference will offer presentations that:

  • Feature information, programs and initiatives relevant to EI, IDD and MH services
  • Focus on the importance of collaboration and partnerships
  • Provide information related to organizational leadership
  • Offer practical assistance and strategies to encourage agencies to meet current and future demands for consistent, high quality services

The presentations will stand out by inclusion of solid learning objectives, information that a participant can use to enhance professional skills or methods, and being geared to a diverse and advanced audience.

Notes

Workshops approved for Social Work continuing education hours are available through co-sponsorship of Temple University Harrisburg - a PA State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors pre-approved provider of continuing education.  These credit hours satisfy requirements for LSW/LCSW/LMFT/LPC biennial license renewal. Certificates of attendance documenting Social Work continuing education hours will be issued by Temple University Harrisburg following the conclusion of the conference.
