Course Description

Do you have a green thumb and a love for all things plants? Join us at the Ambler Arboretum for Plant Camp, where you will learn all about gardening, plants, and the people who love plants so much, they made working with them their careers! Through hands-on activities, you will discover the many ways you can appreciate horticulture, including landscape design, outdoor gardening as well as growing in a greenhouse, floral arranging, creating botanical illustrations, and more! Don’t be afraid to get dirty! Daily activities will utilize the Ambler Arboretum, greenhouse and outdoor gardens and trails.

 

Notes

This camp is held at Temple University Ambler Campus and is best suited for rising 6th graders to rising 9th graders.
