OIACI0004 - Private Tutoring Session Program
Course Description
The Confucius Institute at Temple University’s Private Tutoring Program was established to meet individual intermediate and advanced Chinese language students’ specific language needs. Every lesson is customized to fulfill an individual’s language goals. Our instructors can work one-on-one with you to improve your reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. All of our instructors are native speakers with degrees in TCSOL.
Lessons are conducted at the Confucius Institute, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM. Completion of the CI Private Tutoring Program Form is necessary before sessions can begin.
Please note that we can only offer private tutoring sessions to intermediate and advanced Chinese language learners that are not current students at Temple University.
Pricing
Each session is 1 hour long and $20. Sessions are booked in multiples of 5. If you book 10 sessions, you get one session free.

Course Outline
If you are interested in beginner Chinese courses, you have a couple options:
1) Enroll in the non-credit Mandarin classes at the Temple Center City or Ambler campuses. More information can be obtained here. NOTE: These classes do not always run due to low enrollment.
2) Enroll in a Temple University, for-credit Chinese class as a non-matriculated student. Information on this process can be obtained through Temple’s Office of Continuing Studies here.
