Course Description
A Grief Trajectory Overview
Lisa Zoll, LCSW along with Lynn Shiner developed a new model of the grief process called “A Grief Trajectory” which was published online in “Social Work Today”. The model is comprised of three concepts: event grief, working grief and forever grief. It is designed with the following in mind: it eliminates stages, phases, and states and it eliminates a time frame for grief. It takes the pressure off the griever to meet expectations of other models, it is nonlinear, and closure it not a goal. Lisa Zoll, LCSW will be presenting an overview of the trajectory in this workshop.

This workshop has been approved for 2 continuing education hours through co-sponsorship of Temple University Harrisburg, a PA State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Professional Counselor pre-approved provider of continuing education. These credit hours satisfy requirements for LSW/LCSW/LMFT/LPC biennial license renewal. Certificates of attendance documenting continuing education hours will be issued by Temple University Harrisburg.
