Course Description

This course is designed to illuminate both Catholics and non-Catholics to the remarkable, institution known as the “the Petrine Office.” We will explore the world’s oldest, continually functioning institution from its inception to the present. The information presented will show both the godly and human nature of the Popes through history. The basis of the course will be centered around information from “The Great Courses,” augmented by the speaker.

Presented by James H. Robertson, who holds an MA in Modern European History from Washington State University and is an Adjunct Professor of History at Eastern University.

Notes

Membership in the Lifelong Learning Society for the Fall 2017 semester is required in order to take this course.
