Course Description

Optimize Your Health with Plant Based Foods  PASCEP 0304   

This hands on learning experience will teach students healthy eating options for sustainable good health and disease prevention.  By the end of the session students will be able to identify/use fresh herbs for seasoning and medicinal use.  Recipes will be provided at the end of each session. 

Instructor: James Mitchell has been a vegetarian since 1983.  He opened several vegetarian venues including:  Cafe Mills Vegetarian, Vegan and Heart Healthy Foods, Cafe Mills your Point Destination, and V spot on Main street in Manayunk.

These classes take food preparation to the next level using herbs and urban farming to reinforce healthy living and healthy environments.
