PASCEP Community Workshops 

PASCEP is dedicated to "KEEPING THE COMMUNITY INFORMED".  Community Workshops provide information, resources and education.  The workshops are also a platform for brainstorming, dialogue, and intellectual discourse to provide opportunity for organizations and individuals to network, collaborate and develop partnerships for the benefit of the community.

Each workshop is Free to the community

PASCEP Council of Elders Forum

Fishbowl Dialogue and Discussion

Elder Faculty, administration and members of PASCEP will discuss the History of PASCEP. Tier 1 Past,: The Dialogue will include their experiences that led them to PASCEP and the environment at Temple and the world that shaped the PASCEP experience.   Tier 2: Present: A Group of Instructors, community members and  PASCEP students will join the Elders in  discussion about the present conditions that shape the PASCEP experience.  Tier 3 Future:  The audience will join the discussion about the possibilities for the Future of PASCEP. 

This is a free workshop.  Council of Elders presenter names will be displayed in February.

Wantrepreneurship: Fundamentals and Realities of Starting Your Own Business

This session is a panel discussion from experts, small business owners, and developers to prepare serious minded entrepreneurs.  Sponsored through Temple University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and hosted by Lenfest North Philadelphia Workforce Initiative (LNPWI), Pan African Studies community Education Program (PASCEP) and TU Center for Community Partnerships (TUCCP).  Temple is dedicated to assisting community members with the motivation to turn their hobbies, hustles and ideas into viable business.  Supports and funding may be available to serious minded entrepreneurs along with space in SBDC's incubator to start your business venture.
