TRACE0010 - The Business of Bubbles
Course Description
Ever wondered what is the difference between champagne and prosecco? And perhaps why there is such a price difference? This class is designed to provide a crash course to lovers of bubbles as to how and why there is such a strong distinction between the various categories of spumante. The goal is to provide you with a learning, tasting, and ultimately the ability to select the category of bubble to fit your desired situation and occasion.
Session 1: Friday, September 22nd from 18:00-20:00 or Wednesday, October 4th from 13:00-15:00. Focus on general bubble introduction and appreciation of Italian bubbles.
Session 2: Wednesday, October 11th from 13:00-15:00 or Friday, October 20th from 18:00-20:00. Introducing Prosecco: the Italian alternative.
Session 3: Wednesday, October 18th from 13:00-15:00 or Friday, November 17th from 18:00-20:00. Introducing the grand dame of bubbles, champagne.
Students can sign up for 1 session or all three. Cost of all bubbles is included.
