Course Description

What do Japanese and French art have in common? Find out by examining the traditions of each culture and learn what was borrowed and re-interpreted. The class will explore works by Gauguin, Toulouise Lautrec, Vuillard, Van Gogh, Monet, Degas, Cassett and more. Presented by Ruth Herman Cohen, who has taught both adult art studio and art appreciation classes for the Philadelphia Archdiocese and the Philadelphia Museum of Art for many years.

This course is part of the Lifelong Learning Society membership program for the Spring 2015 semester. All classes take place at the Temple University Fort Washington campus.
