ONCE0745 - Code Breakers

Course Description

Calling all future coders, programmers, & designers! Learn the basics of coding languages like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS through a series of web projects and design challenges each day and be on your way to becoming the next tech star! Whether you want to be the next Mark Zuckerberg or the high school student who just made $1 million dollars for programming in his bedroom, this course has the essentials you need to begin your journey. Projects will be available on a Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program. Returning students can create more advanced projects that build on previous years.

There are several sections of this HALF-DAY camp. Choose the section to the right based on the AGE of your child and the campus LOCATION:

ONCE0745-004: AGES 8 to 10:June 25 to 29, 2018 from 9 AM to 12 PM at Temple University Ambler Campus

ONCE0745-005: AGES 11 to 14: July 9 to 13, 2018 from 1 to 4 PM at Temple University Ambler

ONCE0745-006: AGES 8 to 14: June 25 to 29, 2018 from 1 PM to 4 PM at Temple University Main Campus

ONCE0745-007: AGES 8 to 14: Aug. 6 to 10, 2018 from 1 to 4 PM at Temple University Center City

Summer Camps Refunds/Withdrawals Policy: To receive a refund for a summer camp, you must request a withdrawal at least 3 weeks before the start date of the camp session that your child is enrolled in. If your withdrawal request is received at least 3 weeks before the camp session start date, you will receive a refund minus a $50.00 withdrawal fee. Withdrawal requests received less than 3 weeks before the camp session start date will not be entitled to any refund. This is regardless of when you registered for the camp. All withdrawals must be received in writing and can be sent by email to course.withdrawals@temple.edu or by fax at (267) 468-8506.
