Course Description

Do you like to draw? Create characters? Make up stories?

In Adventures in Animation kids will learn hand drawn animation, story boarding, and character design. The approach to animation will be hands on and art centered as opposed to a digital software methods. Kids will learn the basics of animation such as storytelling, timing and pacing and creating characters as well as a few tricks to save time and make their film look better.

This HALF-DAY camp is scheduled at Temple’s Main Campus. Choose the section to the right that best meets your needs:

  • UMSUM0006-004: Ages 8 to 10 – July 30 to Aug 3 from 9 AM to 12 PM
  • UMSUM0006-005: Ages 11 to 14 – July 30 to Aug 3 from 1 to 4 PM
