Course Description

Digital Dentistry is here to stay!  Intraoral Scanning is the entryway to many workflows for fixed, removable and implant restorations.  While many of our skills as dentists still apply, to become a successful digital dentist, considerations should be taken when using milling units and 3D printers to fabricate restorations.  The latest evidence-based dentistry in digital workflows will be reviewed during this course in order to guide the practitioner through decision making.  Through hands on experiences, the practitioner will learn how to use Trios Intraoral scanner and utilize 3Shape Design software to evaluate tooth preparations and design a restoration for milling.
