Course Description

Fascism began in 1919 as intense, racial nationalism; anti-intellectualism; rejection of compromise and contempt for the established society. A chauvinistic, reactionary dictator was needed to overturn the social order and redistribute social, political and economic power. It redirected populist, political, economic and sexual energy. Are we dangerously flirting with fascism?

Presented by Michael Heinsdorf, MDiv, STM, MA, a former Lutheran pastor, high school German instructor and adjunct faculty member at LaSalle University.
