Course Outline

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

· Compare and contrast criteria for reporting suspected child abuse to Child Protective Services and General Protective Services.

· Identify components of child abuse.

· Identify their responsibilities as mandated reporters.

When participants return to the workplace, they will be able to:

· Report suspected child abuse to appropriate agencies within required time frames.

· Recognize signs of potential child abuse
