Location: Online via Zoom

Hosted By: Judy Beck, President, Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Clinical Professor of Psychology in Psychiatry, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine

Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) has been demonstrated in over 2,000 clinical trials to be effective for the range of psychiatric disorders, psychological problems, and medical conditions with psychological components. Unlike traditional psychotherapy, CBT is time-sensitive and focuses on helping clients learn techniques to change their unhelpful thinking and behaviors and to solve current problems so they can live in alignment with their aspirations and values. This is accomplished in the context of a highly supportive, collaborative therapeutic relationship.
