Date of Festival:  Friday, April 22, 2022

You and your ensemble are invited to the annual Festival of Winds on the Temple University campus.  Participating bands will have an opportunity to perform on stage in the beautiful Temple Performing Arts Center (TPAC), receive recorded feedback and a post-performance clinic from outstanding music educators, and participate in masterclasses with Temple faculty and members of the Philadelphia Orchestra.  The festival will also include performances by the Temple University Symphonic Band and the Temple University Wind Symphony.

Fee:  $500 per group

Registration:  We are limited to nine (9) performing ensembles, and spots will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. You may register using the "Apply Now" link below. The first nine (9) schools to apply will be tentatively registered. Schools attempting to register after the festival is full will be placed on a wait list in order.

The first nine tentatively registered schools will receive an invoice within 2 business days. Once the invoice is sent out, you will have four weeks to procure payment in one of the following ways:

1. Pay via credit card on the website.
2. Pay via check, made out to Temple University and mailed to: Temple Music Prep, c/o Registrar, 1515 Market St., Suite 501, Philadelphia, PA 19102.
3. Email musicprep@temple.edu or fax (215.204.5495) a copy of a valid PO (from a school district, booster club, etc.) proving that payment is forthcoming.

Once payment (or valid PO) is received, your registration will be considered confirmed. If payment is not received after four weeks, you will be removed from the list and the next ensemble on the wait list will be allowed to register.

Scheduling: Registered bands will be sent a questionnaire asking for their preferred performance time. Please note that while we try to honor these requests, we cannot guarantee a specific time slot.   Ensembles performing in the morning are strongly encouraged to remain on campus for the midday Symphonic Band performance, while ensembles performing in the afternoon are strongly encouraged to remain on campus for the evening Wind Symphony performance as we believe these concerts are an important part of the festival experience.
