Course Description

As non-financial managers progress in their career, they require a deeper financial insight to be successful. This program is developed to provide non-financial managers the crucial financial tools to succeed within their organizations. During this three-day financial education workshop, you will learn the managerial and financial accounting concepts to make better decisions as a manager. After gaining a fundamental understanding of your company’s balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement, you will be able to make more informed, effective decisions within the organization.

Course Outline

The workshop takes place over the course of three days, and is led by Dr. Bora Ozkan, Assistant Professor of Finance, and Ronald Anderson, Chair and Professor of the Finance Department. Instruction will take place in the Capital Markets Room, a mock trading room with cutting edge financial analytic tools providing a unique learning environment.
