Course Description

Financial modeling builds a representation of the relationship among financial variables to solve investing and financing decisions. Financial modeling provides managers with beneficial skills and techniques in valuation, forecasting, capital budgeting and planning. This course will benefit professionals at the beginning of their careers, as well as mid and late-stage managers to enhance their financial skills and performance.The Fox Financial Modeling workshop focuses on valuation and modeling techniques used by academics and practitioners. After this three-day workshop, students will become proficient in building Excel models and performing sensitivity analyses for superior financial decision-making.

Course Outline

The workshop takes place over the course of three days, and is led by Dr. Bora Ozkan, Assistant Professor of Finance. Instruction will take place in the Capital Markets Room, a mock trading room with cutting edge financial analytic tools providing a unique learning environment.
