Course Description

A Greek philosopher once said that the only constant in life is change.  Perhaps no greater change in American education has taken place so swiftly as those of 2021.  Our teaching situations have been transformed, our students' lives have been upended, and the path forward is not terribly clear.  We will focus on who we are as arts educators and our responsibility for responding to the changing landscape.  Our time together will center on navigating change through a core system of beliefs that are driven by inspiration and innovation.  We will help you to develop processes that are immediately applicable and serve all students.
