Course Description

This class will offer complete training in how to engage and reduce the stress in one’s life, and we’ll sing while we do it! There are two aspects to relieving stress: gaining insight into its causes; and engaging in practices, such as singing and meditation, that undo the stress reaction itself. Each class will include a short presentation on the dynamics of the stress reaction, guided meditation, group singing, and discussion. By the end of the 8 weeks, you will have gained valuable insight into how your mind works, learned powerful meditation techniques, felt the transformative power of group singing, and leave with a complete tool kit to help you face the challenges in your life
