African American Literature :   Online   PASCEP0202            Course Fee: $35.00                   (6 Weeks)  Monday  5:30pm - 7:00 pm      African American Literature is an appraisal of the literature and culture of the African American, African Cuban, and African people, with their common bonds and differences. The course will study representative works of African people.  The focus for this section will be an examination of the cultural identity, liberation, colonialism, and racism of three novels from the African diaspora beginning with the 'Bluest Eye" by Toni Morrison            

Instructor: Dr. Ramona L. Hyman Educator, speaker, essayist and Poet, Dr. Hyman's work is grounded in an African American cultural and religious sensibility. Dr. Hyman alumni of Temple University and the daughter of PASCEP's founder Annie D. Hyman.
